Maple syrup is a plant-based product that is produced in a natural environment and promotes sustainable agriculture. It takes approximately 40 gallons of sap to produce one gallon of maple syrup. Each tree makes less than two bottles of our 32 oz. 100% Pure Maple Syrup. Maple farming ensures wildlife habitat and uses no chemicals. This also makes for a healthy forest floor and plant growth. Growing maple trees does not require tilling and therefore does not create soil erosion. A healthy maple forest for tapping trees includes a diversity of tree species. Approximately, 2.5 acres of diversified forest holds 100 tons of carbon.

Low Glycemic Index

Maple Syrup is a low 54 compared to 61 for honey, 65 for sugar and 73 for corn syrup. Anything below 55 is considered to have a low glycemic index. A moderate glycemic index is 55-69.
